I think projects that can be mapped remotely are the way to go.

Well, with an even split between Green Spaces and Buildings, we've decided that Q1 will be Green Spaces. Q2 will probably be Buildings unless something else more timely comes up.
I'm setting up some MapRoulette challenges here, more ideas and data are welcome.

Buildings, if we can use task manager, makes most of the other topics easier to work on in the future and is a lockdown friendly activity.

Buildings is a good remote mapping task for lockdown/winter. Green spaces is potentially useful for people looking for exercise locations.

As the UK is trying become csrbon neutral I think that by mapping out solar panels will help other organisations see how much renewable energy is being produced

Why those dots: I want to see OSM be relevant to people who aren't mappers, and serve mapping needs that the commercial maps don't. All these seem to do that.
Why not others: My are is well covered for green space and transport. EV charging points is a good idea, but I've run out of dots, and less urgent while we're not going anywhere. Ditto disabled parking. Solar panels really bore me - I'm sure it's an excellent idea for many reasons, but all of them unknown to me!

Vaccination sites are important but with many being pop up centres (near me anyway) it'll be hard to micromap without satellite imagery. Buildings are always important, and EVs are more popular now so charging points are a good one to work on

I have been getting reading buildings mapped with house numbers, postcodes , street names, There is still lots to do here could do with some focus across the whole UK. Community Centers and Vaccination Stations are more immediately important.

In Hackney some streets have no buildings mapped and I spend a lot of time in green spaces

Buildings & green space to continue development of the map, solar can add to new residential as many new buildings include solar as part of the specification.

In urban settings there are lots of patches of green that are not easily designated so are missed out

Can be a mixture of armchair and local walks (going on walking routes one might not normally). Also tagging for these could be rationalised

I think I've managed to remove more than 900 tasks by conflating ways leisure=pitch sport=skateboard. Thanks.

It briefly mentions playgrounds but focuses on allotments in Map Roulette.

The maproulette task for playgrounds could do with a tweak. It is including skateboarding areas which are mapped as leisure=pitch sport=skateboard and therefore generating false positives.
