The Incubation Committee agreed to relaunch this committee as Project Support. This is a motion to accept that change.

• General committee reset

• Reflect our expanded responsibilities of incubation process, community project, and website foss4g check

Here is the proposed mandate:

Project Support Committee

Provide software foundation support to project teams in keeping with Open Source Geospatial Foundation principles and values:

1. - Ongoing software foundation support for "OSGeo Projects":

   1. - Assist project teams over course of project lifecycle: incubation, policy updates, license change, end-of-life.

   2. - Update OSGeo software foundation policies under direction from the OSGeo Board

   3. Establish and maintain OSGeo incubation process.

2. Connect project teams with a mentor for one-on-one support during incubation process.

3. Establish and support inclusive "OSGeo Community" projects initiative providing space for new and innovative projects.

4. Establish and support "FOSS4G Project" directory for OSGeo.
