New Feature: Better revision history
One of the things that's been a real rough corner at Loomio for a long time is viewing the edit history of content. But no longer! Thanks to @eddalley , we now have a much-enhanced experience for viewing the history of a particular piece of content.

This is available for polls, comments, and discussions which have been edited by clicking on the 'view history' button in the action dock:

We've also added the ability to move back and forth between versions, as well as an advanced diffing engine to make it really easy to see what's changed. Please try it out and let us know what you think!
Since a comment or context could be edited after it has been responded to, it's important that any changes in the intention of the message are clearly visible. For example I say "we should go out and have coffee after the meeting" and you say "that's a great idea" then I edit the message to say "we should go out and start a riot after the meeting" that changes what your message means drastically. Since only a few words can change the meaning of a phrase theses diff colorings make it a lot easier to see exactly what has changed in a message.
I am mistyping this message on purpose!
This is a beautiful feature @eddalley -- great stuff
Really happy about this! Just merged it to our branch, great job!
This is incredibly impressive.
Crumbs. It's beautiful.
I'm curious if examples when this would be needed?
I'm glad it's been added but suspect there's some use cases for it I've not considered which probably motivated it being developed?
