that's a neat idea. I think we're interested in moving towards tagged content. Once there is a system in place for that it will certainly be exciting to explore some possible ways to navigate conversations. for the moment you can get a fair way by doing searches (which will hit all the groups that you are in)

to find other groups you're not a part of try a search on https://www.loomio.org/groups

at the moment I don't think there is a way to search easily for content of groups you're not a part of.
you could try a google search using site scoping
e.g. site:loomio.org sustainable

we've actually recently changed the way loomio displays its URLs to help optimise this sort of searching :)

yep, I know that you can search through conversations but this is more about being able to visualize, to get a full picture of how things relate. adding generic keywords per group would greatly improve navigation and make possible some interesting visualizations.

for example I called this conversation Loomio Maps but for search puroposes and visualizations, would be better described by: #keywords and #visualisations

Sounds like a neat concept. The goal after our mobile release is a plugin architecture that would allow users to make cool stuff like this with Loomio.

i think there's a lot of utility here. a [hash]tagging mechanism could, for example, allow multiple groups taking the same decision independently to indicate the alignment of that decision as part of the larger set.

there are lots of ways to do that, but it's one approach...

I know one of @robertguthrie's immediate priorities is to make groups much more discoverable. E.g. I'd love to be able to easily connect with other cycle collectives and learn from what's working for them. I had just been thinking about thematic categories, but of course geographic would be useful too :)
