In case someone didn't see the other thread with these, you are more than welcome to use or modify these.

I dont want to get too nitpicky about this but you're using a highly distorted world map here. This kind of improperly scaled map is very popular but is known for the ideological implications of making countries in the far north appear much larger and stretched out (most noticeably Canada, Greenland, and Russia) and making countries and continents near the equator appear much smaller and less important (namely South America and Africa). The problem though is finding an accurately scaled map is difficult because it's really hard to not distort a sphere that's been flattened out and if you could find one it's still going to look strange and unfamiliar. Whether you want to change it or not based on that objection though is your prerogative.

I actually share the same concerns, changing the flag to having the world in a more appropriate projection is something that I actually didn't consider until after I designed the flag. Again, anyone is welcome to adapt and develop the flag, I would but graphic design is definitely not my passion.
