The initial plan to run the Joint Code Sprint at LPS was cancelled by ESA, so we have to pivot to other dates/locations.
The initial proposal was to run it on the week of 16-20th of June, but considering we are already at May 7, this gives us just over a month, which is not enough for preparing the sprint. I think we should push it further
These are some relevant events in June/July, which we may want to deconflict with:
LPS: 23-27th of June
Holiday in the US: 4th of July
FOSS4G EU: 14-20th of July
I think the ideal set of dates would be 7-11th July. We could also do it after FOSS4G EU (21-25th of July), but later in July may result in many people in Europe at least, being in holiday.
The University of Evora, which hosted us last year, have offered to host again but they need a confirmation soon to book the rooms.
