@Joana +1 to draft an email to ask based on week before/week after (if they prefer one over the other) for any potential issues with the FOSS4G EU event.

I am reluctant to support 2 important OSGeo events so close to each other. We are in this unfortunate situation because OSGeo (+ the other organisations) had to accept a decision taken very late by the organiser without any kind of prior indication (or discussion) that things might not turn as initially planned. In this context, I don’t think it is fair to put additional pressure on the volunteer community members that are working to organise an OSGeo conference, announced very well in advance.

Following @Joana 's lead; 21-25 July would also work. Note that the same pattern (FOSS4G EU, then OSGeo sprint [but not joint OGC/OSGeo/ASF sprint]) took place in July 2024 as well, with both events being well attended.
