Hello Everyone,
Thank you for joining us on Loomio!
As you see, Loomio is an online platform for collaborative decision making. We hope to use it as a tool to:

  1. Begin a material dialogue between our practices, using the platform to ask questions and share our work with the Assembling group.
  2. We want Loomio to act as the 'curator' for our Assembilng exhibition, to make both practical and creative decisions.

I think this is a really practical tool for making decisions for the exhibition and to share with others across distances.

Just received the Assembling zine, looks great Amy! I like how it's composed of single pages interspersed with sets of pages clipped together. It makes me wonder if we've all received the same version??? ! Interesting, as if it had arrived as a PDF or digital zine, I wouldn't have considered this possibility..

I'm so pleased it arrived! Yes that was a decision I made while printing out the material, to help express certain synergies that I have found through this process and hopefully the ordering demonstrates this too - although it is of course loose to enable reassembling and shifting for each individual zine. There's something about the term 'assembling' that lends itself to the physical that I think will help us when considering our positioning within the exhibition space.

Great Zine! The mix of unusual form (loose leaf in string not virtual or bound) drew me into thinking more about the content. Even though the project has been bilingual the juxtapositioning on reverse of some single pages made me consider the content more in that context then other arrangements of text in translation. Literally presenting on two sides a text of same content ... What else could this be eluding to or modelling it got me thinking
