Outreach Phase 2

How are we doing with #MyOccupy?
We need to contact those along the routes of the caravan, I think; caravans need help, we have banners for them to sign for distance participation, so they are likely to be interested in engaging—or we can kindle interest more easily. I sent Bobby and Donna the California list; they are planning to visit many, as is Niki to some extent.

How about promoting or partnering with some solidarity events to build momentum?

What events are happening nationwide or in Calif in June, July that we can offer media support to and ask them to do so in return?

Swarm for bees (16th of some month; not sure which right now)
Is Restore the Fourth doing anything? We intended to contact them, anyway.
UUA GA in Providence, end of month—(actually, June 25 to June 29); they have a witness event every year, on the Web seminar last night, they said that they would not be streaming it for off-site delegates, and I pointed out that when they left us stranded in Phoenix in 2012, Occupy Phoenix did so (the UUA picked it up) and said that I would try to contact Occupy Providence to see if they could do the same again. (sorry for being long-winded)

Yes, some feelers of which way to go and who wants aboard , even if only in spirit would be awesome. I saw one of the groups from Georgia ask folks if they wanted to host an out reach, very similar to what the JCO is doing.

It would be great to have the problem of too many places to visit as opposed to to few. yes?

SE Caravan has reached out and made connection with Macon. Macon will be the next stop ETA 18th-19th 2 weeks then the next location.

@juliaclark Has anyone from the other caravan teams reached out to you about banner materials? I was thinking of checking in with each, thought I would start by asking you about status; I noticed that you had mentioned having it with you. Last I heard was a while back, when we were discussing costs of getting it to the start point—never heard the final determination, if any.

oh, mostly i just go and hang out with all those gruops, but i'm kicking it up and starting to ask for meetings now. =)
