A new website for PPI

PPI needs a modern and sexy website, more a full collaborative communication concept than the bare information desk thingy like now. It has to be sustainable merged with its fluently active social media accounts and should invoke political participation.
We need a smooth restart in our online representation with more languages. In accordance to the upcoming new PPI shop solution I want to initiate the discussion about who and how will be part of this huge challenge.
Who dares to be part of the web-team and which skills do you want to offer? Do you have already some wicked propositions?

The best thing someone has come up with is pirateint.org
For i18n purposes there is a wiki which has the translate plugin for mediawiki.
Depending on the need, the mediawiki could be the main site, if properly configured, because mediawiki serves as a blog or as anything you could want, and that would allow people to translate everything they can.

I've started this discussion in both groups "IT & Admin" and "Communications and Social Media" to get the most out of it and to find more people to work with. I think it's a comprehensive task for both groups.
