How can we help different Democracy Platforms inter-operate?

There are already several with their own various quirks, Loomio, Jolitics, Reddit, openIDEO, etc.
I'd like for systems that are not too disimilar to be able to interact with each other. This could also help prevent a single point of failure or individuals being tied to a single service.

Pretty pants how I can just totally edit everything you've written in the description (the 'Discussion context'?). I can't edit your proposal though can I? I don't even think I can suggest an amendment can I?

I think I can edit some bits of yours, but not the title. Much of this is suff we have discussed, but not always come to a conclusion.
