As you will have seen from Martin's email the Mindfulness for Change team have been working on plans for our third get-together at Hui #3. As the weekend of 12-14 May 2017 at Waihoanga Retreat Centre works for nearly everyone we've confirmed that date and venue. We invite you to put this date in your calendars now.
The purpose, themes, content and further details of this next Hui will be shared with you as they evolve during our planning.
That the Mindfulness for Change Hui 3 be held at Waihōanga Centre for Well-being in Otaki from Friday 12 May to Sunday 14 May 2017.
Green - go for it, sounds like a great venue and I can make it!
Orange - I'm happy to leave this decision up to the group
Pink - I can't make it or this venue won't work
Red - go back to the drawing board!

Yes this will give us ample time to plan.
Also May is better than April as Easter and Anzac weekend will take many people away for a couple of weekends.

May may not be the best for camping but the site gives us some opportunities for a larger scale event

Have stayed there before and really liked it! More breakout spaces than Riverslea, and the yurt is a fantastic place to practice. That date in May is good, given they're only available then or Easter weekend out of all of April and May.

I won't be able to make it unfortunately. I'll be leaving for Vietnam the following weekend. Enjoy!

I've been to a retreat at Waihōanga and really liked it as a venue. It's bigger than Riverslea with more inside and outside space. It has an amazing yurt surrounded by a stream that is a great place to sit together.
The cost to stay at Waihōanga is reasonable at $39 per person per night, $27.50 per person per night camping and $22.50 per day for day visitors (excluding catering, linen, cleaning).
