JS Jeremy Simon Public Seen by 127

Description of Proposed Project:

Wildemont, LLC, a strategic change management consulting firm, proposes a partnership with our network to enhance our global reach and impact.

Led by Dr. Adam Jennings and Jason Theunissen, Wildemont offers expertise in process optimization, outreach planning, organizational design, sales, and digital marketing. Their approach involves Wildemont Basecamp, a comprehensive data collection and analytics exercise, to clearly define our current state and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Improved project/task management capabilities for our volunteers and chapters

  • Improved community outreach through digital marketing and partnerships

  • Improved connections with medical community with supporting best-practices for e-NABLE volunteers

  • Improved fundraising and grant acquisition capabilities

Estimate of work effort involved:

Estimated timeline for completion:

We expect this will be an ongoing program, but the e-NABLE community will have the opportunity to vote on whether or not to renew after each 6 month period.

Names of individuals responsible for deliverables:

Dr. Adam Jennings and Jason Theunissen - see their detailed bios in the [full proposal document](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yy7PjoXMmtoYIZQPPHxCPktqNmw306Wu/view?usp=sharing).

This program is being sponsored by Jeremy Simon and Jon Schull, cofounders of the e-NABLE volunteer community. We will help to oversee the work being completed and will provide reports to the community about their progress and results during our weekly Town Hall meetings.

Amount of funding being requested:

$1980 per month with a 6-month renewable contract duration, paid at the start of each quarter. Total amount being approved initially would be $11,880, with $5,940 paid upon contract initiation and $5,940 paid after the completion of the first 3 months.

It takes the years of work that has been put into the organization and establishes a path forward to sustain and grow our mission.

Success cannot be determined without setting target results or metrics of pre and post-proposal work. This will make the interpretation of results unclear and the decision of continuing after the first 6 months very difficult. At least have a first phase to determine priorities and targets after the first 2 months of work.

@Bob Sommerich Thanks for your input, Bob. I don't know whether this will influence your vote, but we did discuss the topic of metrics and measuring success in last week's Town Hall. I was supposed to share the recording here in Loomio, but I got busy with work and failed to do so. You can find it here: https://www.youtube.com/live/C0xWW2nXkzE?feature=share&t=745

Hi Jeremy,Thank you for the response to my comments. I was just providing input based on my past work and life experiences. I reviewed the recording you sent.
Seems like there is some good history with Wildemont and other proposal work. However, without setting up "check in" meetings to review progress or adjust the trajectory of work, I still feel that the proposal is too open. The work could be broken up into phases so that (1)priorities could be determined, then agreed upon, (2) metrics reviewed, then target goals set and (3) Final results of work compared to targets.

Is changing a vote possible after submitting? I would change my vote to abstain since I am not well embedded into e-NABLE work and history. I hope comments are helpful as intended.Â

By the way, I have printed over 40 large splints for Ukraine and now started some prints for IATD. The emails about these organizations were very helpful.Â

Regards,
Bob

After reading Adam's response and listening to some of the townhall, I would support this proposal. I think it has potential to reveal next steps and is pretty low-risk for the potential benefit in addition to giving some results within the first 6 months.
