Article 32: The constitution guarantees the protection of the environment and regards the sustainable development of natural ecosystems as a moral and a sacred duty.

New Text: The constitution recognises the complexity and interconnectedness of life and life systems. Humans are not separate or above this. At an individual, communal and national level it is our duty to ensure human activities, technologies and development are truly sustainable and do not have an adverse effect on ecosystems on a local, national or global level. This will also mean limiting scale and type of human activity in some geographical areas.

I would include "sacred duty" as in the original but do not wish to upset the most secular of us.
