Merging groups

Sometimes two groups decide to merge to form a larger, more integrated organisation, or one groups joins another organisation as a subgroup. What happens when two groups join in some way, and both have a separate Loomio group? It would be great if when:

  • two groups merge: all discussions and subgroups from the two existing groups are aggregated into a new group, with the agreed combined name
  • one group joins another organisation: the joining group's Loomio becomes a subgroup of the Loomio for the organisation it's joining
