G GP Public Seen by 11

The Nintendo Papercraft Gallery is an social networking experiment launched last year. It lets anyone share photos of their guest builds. User submission requires no log in, nor registration, nor whatsoever. The submission are also found in the Tumblr stream of posts and thus can spread to a relatively wide audience.

Yes: The Tumblr Gallery will be withdrawn, redirecting instead the visitors to go to the Museum on the forums.

Agree: The Nintendo Papercraft will stop accepting submissions. New submissions will instead happen in the Museum forum under the Papercraft Building section. An indication on the tumblelog will be added to inform visitors of the transition.

Disagree: Keep the Tumblr Gallery active.

I fully agree with this. It could help us get new forum members.

This component of the Nintendo Papercraft services in no way gives a hand to the forum community, in fact, it might even hinder it from my point of view. Statistically speaking, the Tumblr Gallery scarcely contributes to the blog's development.

I've never used Tumblr before, but is there a way to restrict who posts?
If you can, maybe make every picture have an ad for the forums...

@darklink13 Wouldn't that just make the posts redundant and spammy-looking?

I guess so, although another idea would be to post the pictures from the museum with our logo on it to Tumblr.
What about that?
