Relaunch food hub meeting Monday 5-7pm
I'm starting a discussion on Monday's food hub meeting because the GIAG went really well and potentially we could have some keen new members coming along.
This discussion can be about what we aim to cover in the meeting, logistics and how it is facilitated.
These are the aims we suggested at the last food hub meeting, but there may be others things important to cover now that we are expecting brand new green actioners to be there.
Aims of the relaunch meeting
1. introduce new members to the food hub
2. organise a new time/date/ frequency of meetings if needed
3. an opportunity for people wanting to become more involved to find out whats going on/ what they can do
4. an opportunity for people wanting to become less involved to hand over responsibilities, give advice and not feel like things will fall apart!
5. general chance for greater clarity and more communication.
I think it should be in a space big enough to discuss and move around, but close enough to the food coop so we can go there if necessary. I could book a room in Earth and Environment which is big enough but a bit far away. Is anyone able to book one closer to the coop?
Is anyone keen on facilitating or co-facilitating this meeting? I am happy to be involved but am conscious of having co-facilitated the last bigger meeting.

I've now booked the earth and environment room 8.119 because nowhere else close to the union was available and it's big enough.
We could potentially start off at the food hub as a meeting point and focus for the meeting, and perhaps do an exercise like 'everybody look at what we're currently stocking and note down something you're surprised to see and something you're surprised not to see', and use this as a basis for going into a discussion about what we stock/ could stock/ shouldn't stock and why... I was thinking this would be useful to do anyway, but don't know if it's a good topic for this particular meeting or not.
How about we cover an intro to consensus too. Potential tools we could use are the trust and agreement matrix that I used at the induction (I can do this or pass it on to someone else to do), and some kind of exercise like the orange or date scenario that some of us were talking about last night. Spectrum lines could also work well for the aims discussion.

I think that the main reason for this meeting is about relaunching the food-hub in the sense of welcoming new people and discussing how we want to work in the future. So that should be our first aim and if there is time we could go into things like stocking directly from farmers or supporting small farmers.

happy to (co)facilitate, haven't facilitated this term but maybe someone who hasn't done it before could cofacilitate too?
I think it would be good to get a feel for each others aims. What do we think is important? Supplying more directly from farmers like teekampagne and kallari chocolate? Supporting local farmers/coops/suppliers eg honey? Making it as accessible as possible so that more people get involved? Then we know what we can focus on.
Asa, Bissera and Andrea can book rooms, all union rooms are busy so
