Medicinal cannabis
Hi everyone, I am very keen to be able to get cannabis products available for medical/health reasons. I am the director for Greencross NZ and we already have a draft drugs policy.
It is written up on our website http://cannabismedslaw.org/. It was written up as a submission to the National drug policy.
This policy includes, education, licensing, safe supply and support where necessary.
Getting this through before the elections could make a big difference for the Internet/Mana party on election day.

I have read Billy's draft many times. Although for a full policy more will need to be added I am happy to use Billy's draft as a base to build the policy upon.

I think we can do better,
I'm not a fan of the licencing system, it's a well researched and well written document Billy but I disagree with the licencing, sorry about that.

Licensing for all drugs is too wide a scope. Having yet another card to carry to purchase say cigarettes from a dairy which is now legal seems heavy handed and impractical. I'm not opposed to decriminilizing cannabis but not this.

the linked draft is comprehensive and with permission of it's authors could make up the body of IP's policy draft. For inclusion to the fuller policy draft could be docs available from Colorado State and Washington DC re their regulatory statutes.
