METBA is asking for feedback on needed community improvements!

JO Jonathan Ogden Public Seen by 58

At the general meeting a representative, Stephen Rice, from the Montaville/East Tabor Business Association (METBA) was asking for the community to submit issues to their board for potential funding toward a solution.

Specifically, they are looking for input on needed pedestrian safety improvements for Montavilla’s commercial corridors - Glisan, Stark, and 82nd and the streets that feed into them.

Input will go into a pedestrian safety plan they are creating.

Comment about your issues and we'll send them their way.

Pedestrian safety islands

Have bicyclists use front and rear lights, and preferably wear reflective gear. Many bicyclists without either, and very hard to see them on the road.

Hi,

I just wanted to let you know that Loomio seems kind of cumbersome and not that great of a communication tool for our neighborhood.

Good luck,

Sincerely, Kathleen Parker 💕

Hey there Kathleen, what is it that seems cumbersome?

If preferred you can respond directly via email and it will post to the site (without a need to login).

Also what would you prefer for surveys?

I'm concerned about a driving issue. At several intersections within the neighborhood there are overgrown trees & bushes that obscure stop signs & traffic.
