What will you do differently next project?
What were the biggest lessons learned from this team project about work/meeting process and use of virtual technologies? How will you use each lesson learned to inform improved practice next project?

Start testing the technology ahead of time since we faced a problem with it in our first meeting.

The first meeting is very important as it really determines how the whole project and group work will go. I think I underestimated the importance of having an agenda and appointing a team leader from the beginning

The biggest lesson for me was having an open mind to try new products. Working with virtual technologies wasn't a new task for me. The meeting and communications were done at a decent hour.

unfamiliar about how to using technology product and teammates have different understanding about conception or definition

My biggest lesson learned is to jump to action immediately and start the project work as soon as possible. I waited for the initial project meeting email, and I should have just sent it the first few days when I was waiting. Because of this, we were delayed a bit. I also think I would have a roles discussion first before discussing project deliverables, so everyone is clear on what their part is.

Get started on the project as soon as possible. Meet at least 2 times a week and be frank as much as possible.

screen-sharing is an invaluable tool for navigating content in parallel with persons present only virtually

Biggest lessons learns will be to facilitate the project and take ownership and assign work to other team members and have timelines in place to set benchmark and using virtual tool helped quite a bit to collaborate and progress, will definitely use slack and google doc to up to date and current on all progress and use the comment feature on Google doc as well

This project actually went fairly smoothly. Not a lot to learn, given the success rate.
A lesson one could take away: if necessary, be ready to take on a role of leadership and add to the project as soon and as often as possible.
