Introduce yourself to the Loomio Community

BK Benjamin Knight Public Seen by 942

There are so many new faces popping up in the Loomio Community!

This is a place where everyone can introduce themselves to the group, so we can all get to know each other :)

As new people come in who have provided some info about themselves, we'll welcome them here.

Let's welcome @jennymc !

"Hello! My name is Jen McArthur and I am a physical theatre performer and maker based in Wellington. I am part of a newly established community of independent performance practitioners in Wellington called the Big Live Arts Group. We have a page on Loomio and it is making our communication and decision making so efficient and fun.
I am really interested in feeding back and supporting this amazing tool in any way I am able. Its gonna change the world!"

Welcome aboard @cheryldoig! Really nice to get your introduction:

"I work as a leadership futurist, exploring trends and making sense of them for today. Collaboration, open government, and community engagement are clear signals for today…and then I found loomio. I got excited and wondered how I might use it to encourage voices to be heard.

At present I am working with a few school clusters in the Christchurch renewal and see some great possibilities so would love to talk with others about possibilities."

Hi folks,

Holy. You guys are really interesting!

I am a consulting economist, working mostly on issues in telecommunications and technology. I am particularly interested in whether New Zealand can take advantage of the internet to improve its economic prospects, and whether use of the internet can really overcome some of challenges we face from being geographically so far away from the rest of the world.

Check out http://themoxiesessions.co.nz for records of the Auckland discussion group I run that talks about this stuff.

I reckon Loomio is a super-interesting example of things the internet can change (i.e., decision-making processes).

Love your work.

Hayden
