Using Open Collective to make a payment ... CC only or other options?

I have a question from a SC member who wants to contribute on Open Collective using PayPal. He is in a country with political disruption and cannot use a credit card to make a payment on Open Collective. What are his options?

As far as I'm aware we don't accept contributions via Paypal. In part this is because of the resulting complexities in terms of book-keeping and in part because it's fiddly to set it up following changes made by the OC platform a while back, and as we've not seen any evidence of significant demand, we chose not to jump through those hoops. People can pay via a bank transfer directly into our bank account or via Stripe using whatever options the OC platform makes available.
