The scope, structure, and schedule for cycle 1

RH

Ronen Hirsch Tue 23 Jun 2020 8:42AM

Online meetings will take place on Thursdays 15:00 - 17:00 UTC on the following dates:

  1. July 2, 2020 - Opening Meeting

  2. July 9, 2020

  3. July 16, 2020

  4. July 23, 2020

  5. July 30, 2020

  6. August 6, 2020 - Retrospective Meeting

Participation is imperative during opening and retrospective meetings.

Participation in other meetings is:

  • Imperative for spending time together in weaving a more intimate social fabric and exploring mutual care and well being.

  • Somewhat less imperative in relation to the "work" we will be doing together because we will be working as much as possible asynchronously. We will be using our shared online time together to more fluidly discuss, clarify, and where needed make decisions. Missing a meeting may therefor imply your voice being absent from these dynamics.

Meetings will take place at: https://meet.jit.si/microsolidarity-remote

Meetings will be roughly divided into two parts to allow for leg stretching, water cycling and context shifting.

Please react with 馃憤 to confirm you are aware and aligned with this schedule.

Yesterday I realised I missed the last meeting so created a cal feed and requested dates, this answers my call so I've put them in - hopefully its useful for people, let me know if they are broken or access is denied etc. :)

Calendar ID:

This gives you write access (I believe):

Thank you @Josh Fairhead for trying to putting these in a calendar ... the dates were shifted incorrectly one month back ... I have corrected them.

You cannot give me write (or any kind of) access on google services because I do not have an active google account. I keep my interaction with Google to a minimum ... and avoid being logged-on / identified /tracked by it.

No worries Ronan, I'm not a big fan of Gafa (Google, Amazon, Facebook and Apple) either to be honest, and a general taste for big tech. However pragmatism requires it of me, so i use their services while building parallel systems. You've probably got your personal organisation locked down from what I've seen, but for the more chaotic among us (Inc myself) I'm just hoping to save some duplication of efforts so it's there for anyone that wants it and if not at least keep myself on the straight and narrow. I'll updated the dates and will add any others I see as they come up - ideally a few people could make date keeping a collaborative effort (as with most things), but yeah if it's meant to be - it'll shall be so, if not it's there for myself :)

Out of curiosity, what are you using - I really dug the Basecamp and hey! resources you mentioned yesterday. during the 10m we talked while waiting for peeps to show up for the call Tibor put out, they made showing up worth while for me at least :) - I'm a big fan of good design, I just don't have the capital to pay for it very often haha!
