I presume my assertion in the Welcome text is correct.

Is there a way to share the discussion with the community w/o asking everyone to create a Loomio account? (I suspect we will lose a lot of participants in the process.)

Anyone with admin access to mailman can sign up one of the mailing lists as a Loomio account's email, then the list will get all emails (as I just did for your 2 comments :)

If we are serious about this tool, we should add sugar-devel, iaep, and olpc-sur.

Maybe Bernie can help set it up at the weekend

Well I think the hosted option should be good enough if we can integrate with it. But I think SL structure of having "members" that (and should!) comment, but only SLOBS can vote, does not match this tool. I'd love to be wrong but can't research it for a few days.

@davecrossland do you think one option would be to subscribe the mailing list and then have SLOBS create accounts and vote?

I am wary of subscribing the email list to the tool, in case replies to the tool by list members who are not tool users may become lost.

I think it will be great if the purpose of the tool will be positioned as one for SLOBs to vote on seconded motions.

I think only a customized version of this tool would work for us. I'd like to do it.

Well, now we know what happens when you send an invite to the mailing list. @walterbender , what's the point of having two Sugar Labs groups? You were already an admin here.
