*NAME CHANGE of this main loomio group.

J Joum Public Seen by 10

You will notice we are called SOL internal Governance and there is a sub-group called SUB Internal Governance.

The main difference between the groups is that the main group hears a report from all the sub-groups. The SUB IG does not. It only deals with the processes we all use, and It must report this to the main group, along with all the other sub-groups.

You can see we need a name change, and I think you will agree that the main group's name is not correct. It has been suggested: Management Circle, or General Management Circle, OR Coordinating Circle. Please make a suggestion if you have one. We will be discussing this in the meeting on Friday (29.8.2014 2pm).

That is a great diagram Ricky. I do notice IG is not there. Did you see its role as dispute resolution or do you see the governance functions as being part of the inner circle? Or do you think we don't need it?

I think public relations needs a media circle. Or is the Public Relations Group that?

You're right, there should be a Media circle. Even if it only has two members, I'm sure there's things that they would need to discuss without needing to drag the rest of the Public Relations circle into it.

The other questions are answered within the discussion on Facebook. As I was saying there, yes, all of the roles that were set for the IG circle could and should be carried out by the Inner Circle. All bar the roles regarding Conflict Resolution.
