Separate into two options to select "Invite and approve new members"
In each group is the options button and "edit group settings"
In the "Permissions" tab, you can select "Invite and approve new members" whose function is:
a) Option selected, all members can invite any person and approve the membership of any person.
b) Option without selecting, can only invite and approve the coordinators. Members must request the coordinator to invite a specific person.
My proposal in two options:
1) To invite new members
1a) Option selected:
1a1) All users can invite any person directly
1a2) All users can invite any person prior approval of the coordinator.
1b) Option without selecting, can only invite the coordinators. Members must request the coordinator to invite a specific person.
2) Approve new members
2a) option selected, all members approve the membership of any person.
2b) option unchecked, memberships only approve the coordinators. Members must request the coordinator approve the membership of a specific person.
I would use a combination of option: 1a1) or 1a2) with 2b)
My objectives
Any member may suggest or render invitation
Approval of membership, especially for the Coordinator
It is a way to avoid conflicts in the group
I hope I don't seem off-topic by bringing up the way invitations work, because that directly influences my ideas regarding who gets to make invitations.
The invitation tool is ideally IMO nothing other than a convenience feature, which shouldn't allow people to add others to groups without their knowledge or informed consent. We discussed that a little in this thread of yours @carlosgallogaravan a couple of months ago.
Alanna created a Trello roadmap card on that subject before. I missed it before, and I just upvoted that card now! I hope others may consider upvoting that Trello card.
Regarding your suggestions in this new topic, Carlos: I think it could be a nice added option, but I don't really think it would create much added benefit. If we separate the ability to invite from the ability to approve members, then we create something equivalent to the existing case when a person directly requests to join a group. (They must be approved by someone else.) We can already create 'indirect invitations' for publicly viewable groups (and subgroup) by sharing a group's URL with someone and asking them to please check the group out. We can suggest that they click the "Ask to join group" button.
I do realize that things are more complicated with invisible groups and subgroups. That's where the suggested feature would be most helpful, but it seems like a very limited benefit. (You can always ask a group coordinator to invite someone whom you wish you could personally invite.) I'm not sure that the benefit would justify the added complexity in the Group Options, even if it were easy to code. I'm certainly not opposed to it, however. :)
@gregorycassel
I'll explain better, to eliminate confusions
In the discussion, Invite Existing users to join group, instead of automatically making them a member, was analyzed, the freedom to accept an invitation:
a) Exist Loomio user account, adhered to the group without waiting for user acceptance
b) There is no user account Loomio, awaiting the decision of the invited person. New user account in Loomio and acceptance of the invitation to join the group
That is the proposal of Alanna in Trello with the title "User must accept invitation to be added to a group, even if They are Loomio Already a user"
About this discussion:
Currently, if I am the coordinator of a group and I do not want any member approves the incorporation of other people in the group, it is only possible unchecking the option "invite and approve new members"
Therefore, members of the group can not invite. Only way, request the coordinator that you send the invitation.
My proposal
Group members can invite any person
The coordinator approves the incorporation of people in the group
The sole purpose of my proposal is to enable all members of the group, the possibility: always invite.
I hope to have improved the explanation
Oh! I get it. You would like to be able to approve invitations!
That's super interesting.
So before the invitation is sent, the coordinator must approve the outgoing invitation.

I made some adjustments taking into account the comments of @robertguthrie
