Do we become a BCorp?
I think most of us know what this discussion is about.

Since we all agree that it would be near impossible to exclude our community from the current goverent, this is a valid option. It also fits very well with our intention of being self sustainable. I believe this will allow us to live in the loving community style that we desire while still able to interact with and influence the current society. Thumbs up!

Here is what I'm thinking. Traditional for profit business models don't really fit us for one reason, inequality. Rather than one vote per person, votes are based on investment which is disproportionate. Non-profits have a high rate of failure, especially during economic hardship. The benefit corporation seems to the most sustainable and beneficial (for all) business model.

77% agreement with 2 non votes, so consensus is a B-Corp. Next logical step seems to be writing up a business plan, but maybe we need to decide on what industry before hand? It seems that CSA was a pretty popular option?
I think we all know the details.

CSA is more then a viable option for us to become a Bcorp. Not only that though. I can form a tent with solar powered labs to teach science to up and coming scientists. Please let me know what you all think.

I think we may need to re open this for discussion as this is a big topic and allow for input from more members. I will bring this up again on the meeting for 12/7 And also remind members to check Loomio, as it is our go to for decision making.
