Cory Doctorow's talk on "the Internet of Things, wealth disparity, surveillance, evidence-based policy and the future of the world"

This is an audio recording of a live talk given by Cory Doctorow at the Central European University in Budapest, recorded by Mindenki Joga Radio Show. Doctorow has a deep understanding of the issues, and an ability to communicate them with lay language and humour, relating both hopeful and scary technical potentials to the sorts of everyday life situations in which the average person would notice them at play.
If anyone has time to listen to the whole thing (almost 1 hour 20 minutes with Q&A), I'd love to know what you think.

I didn't take/make the time to listen to the talk, but I did read Doctorow's Guardian essay linked above. I think his points and priorities are extraordinarily perceptive and eloquent. Thanks for sharing!

hoping to listen to this soon -- meanwhile, @strypey might it help if you gave an indication of how much is summarised in the Guardian article here
thanks
