Designate Bill Barry as Chair for SBE Purposes
At our MGP-CC meeting on August 23, we agreed to designate Bill Barry as MGP chair for State Board of Elections (SBE) purposes. This Loomio vote would confirm that decision.
If SBE requires that the designated chair remain the same throughout the petition drive, the MGP-CC can continue with Bill as designated chair with SBE regardless of internal officer election changes before the drive ends in May 2024.

We need a constant chair through the petitioning, who is not distracted by major other responsibilities, though Bill does a lot in general but it's discretionary for the most part. This would be a very important contribution to the steadiness of the party.
