Put the introduction into "About" section on member profile
To save introduction every time in different groups and so that member knows each other better it make to add the introduction info into "About" section on member profile.

I don't think that's necessarily a serious problem, but I do think that it would be a serious problem if it happened much.

My ideal functionality would be that when you sign up, you write a paragraph introducing yourself, and this is posted to the group to introduce you, then it is displayed on your profile page.
