Thanks Paul I think this is excellent. I think its worth noting that our primary motivation for the survey - which explains the slightly more unprofessional way we framed the questions you cover here - was to get the offers of financial and other contributions. Given this was the principal motivation for the survey I wonder why these results are not included?

Here is the Paekakariki school roll data since 2000. Comparison is made with Pukerua Bay as it has a similar population and train/highway access, also has holiday homes, no new residential development has occurred during the period, and the area also feeds Te Ra primary school.
