On June 23rd, we approved the creation of an Organizing Circle (https://www.loomio.com/p/OI8kEjVz/social-coop-organizing-circle-proposal). This thread is for coordinating the next steps: The next steps are:

each working group chooses one person to be on the Organizing Circle
Community Working Group Ops Team
Tech Working Group
Finance Working Group
[legal?]
other members interested in helping organize the OC are welcome
those people will organize the sortition process for choosing the At Large members

Unfortunately, I'm currently devoting my time to setting up a new online community (intended to be hospitable to less technically-inclined people).

I'm in the same situation as Nathan - I support the process but have insufficient bandwidth to participate.

i'm a relatively new member, long time friend of social coop, and i've been looking for lightweight ways to help. maybe this is one? but I'd need to know when this would be to confirm..

I'm willing to participate, as long as we can make the timing of the meetings work. I will be in CET and PST time zones in the next few months.
