Prevent posts on the Facebook page that have no direct conversation about system development.

All of us get caught out distracted by posts that lead us off on tangents.
This group needs to stay focussed on finding a blueprint.

To that end im proposing an end to any post that is a meme or image without a direct statement or response that will contribute a real useable feature or issue of a direct democracy as we have discussed so far. .

Open for discussion will vote soon

Agreed, it was starting to become another rant fest. In addition, I find it difficult to catch up on all of the comments that people make and the discussions happening. Is there anybody who is good at summarising threads and bullet pointing the relevant marks that were hit during a conversation? Like minutes from a formal meeting.

we are looking for admins to assist with some things now. bullet pointing items into loomio might be more productive.

I agree to this, but seeing how we are in essence attempting to re-model much of society around our new system of governance, I don't think it should be limited to a direct link with Direct Democracy. As long as there is some sort of link (which the OP will have to relay to the rest of us) I don't have a problem with it.

I just don't want our group to turn into another forum obsessed with conspiracy theories (true or not).

we need to make sure focus is pushed away from the why, and more to the how to

why is only partially relevant.
it should mentioned but not the main focus of the thread. the WHAT DO WE DO is more important

the more WHY we allow the more off topic it can go.

all offending posts will be deleted without warning."

objective is to focus discussion towards the blueprint.
and enable members to gain practice in conversation for collaboration.
no more talking at people. no more meme/image comments without full written context.

memes or image comments without a question or potential policy discussion attached will be treated as spam.

the facebook group has been incredibly distracted by causes and has not moved successfully to solutions.
