Let's use this thread for getting the Coordination Working Group (as described in this thread) up and running. I've initially invited those who expressed interest in potentially serving in the group to this thread, but others are welcome to weigh in as well.

Had a good chat with Jonathan Bean and Mike Hales today on this, and we came up with a plan for moving this forward. Basically, the idea is to organize a virtual "strategy summit" in a month or two with all members welcome, at which we'll do a few exercises to collect folks general thoughts on the direction of social.coop, then break out into groups to discuss in more detail some specific pieces of the puzzle. At the end, we'll aggregate the ideas that come out of the discussion, and use that as the foundation for launching the working group.

I've added the specifics for setting the date and otherwise getting planning for this to the Community Working Group Operations Team's agenda, and we'll shoot out a schedule poll early next week to try to nail down a date and time.
