Why is the Mass. Association of Realtors kicking off their annual convention with a trending report that is three years old? Could it be that real estate is still broken and the runaway seller's market in Greater Boston is masking serious vulnerabilities? Or is it an admission that the housing marketing is changing; and if you’re a homebuyer, this a dangerous time to buy? See EXCERPT from the event program below:

The DANGER Report
The Definitive Analysis of Negative Game Changers Emerging in Real Estate
Stefan Swanepoel

"When things are going well it’s often hard to imagine it being any other way. The goal of the DANGER Report is to provide real estate leaders and professionals with a comprehensive and objective analysis of the most significant dangers and risks that could possibly impact the real estate industry. The dangers covered in the presentation are not predictions; they are potential threats facing real estate brokers and agents today."

Regardless, let’s invite multiple stakeholders to use MIT’s uLab course this Fall to deconstruct what’s happened during the three years since the publication of the #DangerReport. While #RE2020 advocates for real estate consumers, we’re eager to engage with disruptive and sustaining innovators, inside and outside the traditional real estate industry to envision / cocreate the emerging future. You can download a copy using this link:

And sign-up for uLab using this link. If you’re in the Boston area, want to meet offline to watch the first LIVESTREAM this Thursday, 9/13/18, 10-11am?

Facebook says that 30 people visited an excerpt from the thread above on a group called Real Estate is Broken -- What Are We Gonna Do About It?. Has anyone downloaded the #DangerReport and begun working slide-by-slide through the scenarios?

As of tomorrow, there will be 50 days before #NARinBos18 -- just enough to deconstruct one slide per day (see sample below). Want to join #RE2020 as we engage with disruptive and sustaining innovators, inside and outside the traditional real estate industry to envision the emerging future?

Revisit the link above to download a copy of the #DangerReport and let us know if you'd like to address one scenario per day, or deconstruct the document during a more intense "sprint?" We've got some innovative ideas about cocreating a Disruption RoadMap. Join us?
