In our discussions on housing LR informed us of the thousands of homeless children in Sacramento. I researched ways to show solidarity. There's a project to collect 7,000 kids backpacks #operationbackpack It has drop off places. We could ask people to bring one, drop it off and take an #unselfie pic to post http://www.voa-ncnn.org/Events/Greater-Sacramento/Operation-Backpack/Drop-off-locations

This is a Sacramento-initiated project; we can offer a drop site if we have someone who can bring the donations we collect to the VOA office.
