Somewhere Food Not Bombs posted that they are coming with food. Can anyone confirm? Who wants to follow up and contact ?

I cannot say for sure...but they definitely find the right place...I have cooked with them before...I don't have current contacts as they were in San Francisco when I met that particular group...I can attempt to contact ANSWER and MOVEON to see if this is for sure...I will do some research...Toad.

I am going to bring veggies and water. I have some email information that could be put on a poster board...I will print out the drought relief ideas from Mother Jones...I am in the woods, guys, so what info I have is limited! Did anyone consider contacting NPR from my last post?

Toad, if you could avoid Nestlé water, it would be appreciated; between Detroit, baby formula, et al., they are not Occupy’s favorite company. There is a water team forming on the ground, with plans for 9 big refillable jugs (size TBD) and as many volunteers, so yours should be back-up only—and it will be HOT, everyone bring cups or refillable bottles, sunscreen, etc.!

It isn't, I don't think...you never know...American Falls is the company...from the NW...it says it is bottled on Mercer Island, WA...and it is a very conscious company (as much as you can be with plastic)...I will haul as much as I can back out too. My ultimate goal is to arrive sometime Wed. and then out after Friday as my partner has some other stuff going on the coast...so can I drop the lentils somewhere and cooking pots? still need them? at a meeting place...need me to cook? Haven't contacted Allstreet...but I will be on the call Sat. for sure. Contacted @lrberts but no word...coming in early like that...wondering still where to meet! Thanks!

Sounds great, @toadficca; you really are conscientious! We have a new chef, Les, and 2 kitchens; one for the first 2 days, another for Sat. and Sun. If you are arriving before 11:30, the antiracism training is at 909 12th Street. If you arrive later, right now I would think that sending a celly message would be the best. I will also make sure that you have my cell phone number.

I was thinking this whole time that "celly" was an address, or website...you mean texting?

Yes, text @natgat2014 to 23559 and you will be in the loop. We need to get that out further so that more people know it..
