It would be a nice feature to have. Not everything that gets put up may be immediately relevant to a proposition.

Stuff like informing the co-op member that on Monday there will be road works and the normal parking spaces wont be available.

Or that John Smith will be leaving so there will be post-work drinks and a cake on Friday.

Had a quick look around and didn't see this suggestion anywhere so I'm just putting up for public consideration.

Totally agree! That's kind of what I had in mind for the Group feed/wall feature. personally I think if we had that, plus the group wiki, communities could make Loomio their main online home instead of having to be across several channels.

@rorytb if you were going to design a new group page along those lines, what would it look like?

I think the important aspect would be finding a way to designate between relevant group material and the social media aspect without undermining either or making it too complicated.

Maybe a general news and announcements wall, preferably with a calender attached. There could be a public loomio wall and a sub-wall for each group (these would be public or private depending on the groups settings).
And a separate personal news feed that goes on the profile page. In this one people could post 'statuses', blogs and such without cramming up the news and announcements page.

I may have just gone ahead an overcomplicated things in my own head. How do you envision it Alanna?
