distribution
so we've finally got the new edition of slaney st printed and ready to distribute! yayyyyy!
we discussed trying to leave stacks of them in strategic places around birmingham, as well as handing them out generally. we've already given some stacks/asked about giving stacks to the following places:
the british oak
carrs lane church
ort cafe
LOAF
the bike foundry
6/8 kafe
cherry reds
the drum
if you can suggest anywhere else please do/just go give em a stack when you can. they're all at the coop as per, come over any time and we'll pass them on.

A contact of mine in the Acocks Green/Yardley area wants 500-1000. I'll take what I grabbed last night over to her today if I can.
The protest outside the LP rally at the ICC tomorrow would be a good place to shift a lot. 10pm by the LoB

And of course, there is St. Patrick's Day on Sunday. Usually huge crowds. I have heard one suggestion to meet in Digbeth at 12 noon.

A lot given out at the LP rally this morning. Met someone from "United We Stand" on the Moseley Rd. Balsall Heath (near Fire Station) who said can we drop a pile in please?
Am available tomorrow if someone can nail down a time and place at the St. Patrick's Day celebration.

Dianne, from the Bournville/Northfield area, has taken a pile for her neighbourhood, and also sent in these two poems.

Jackie from Acocks Green has taken a couple of hundred, especially to use around her two local libraries.
Also, tomorrow night there will be a big "question time" on education in the Council house, organised by the NUT and the FoLoB. 7.30pm; Cllr Brigid Jones, Tim Brighouse, Robert Brenchley of Bham LU, national NUT speakers, There should be enough papers around to hand out out, but a few more just in case might help.
