Some gimbals we recommend

There are many. These are just some:

  • DJI OSMO Mobile 3 ($100) or 4 ($149)

  • DJI OM 4 ($150)

  • Zhiyun Smooth 4 ($100)

  • Zhiyun Smooth XS

  • Zhiyun Smooth Q2

  • Hohem iSteady X

  • Moza Mini MX

  • MOZA Mini-S

  • MOZA Mini P

  • Feiyutech Vimble 2S

  • Aochuan Smart XR

  • Freefly Movi Cinema Robot

Some of the latest, most high-end smartphones (such as some Galaxy phones) have excellent inbuilt image stabilisation, so if you really don't want to get a gimbal right away, these may suffice without - but be sure to test this thoroughly and be aware that you may get poor ratings, earn fewer tips and achieve less bookings if your tours lack smooth camera movement - it's one of the most common problems hosts face.

Smartphones we recommend

Almost any high end modern smartphone should be great. If you're on a budget or have a slightly older phone, just be sure it has at least a 700 series Snapdragon processor, with at least 4GB of RAM (2GB on iPhone should suffice).

5G network support is ideal (if your region supports it) but not necessary; 4G is fine, so long as you have good signal and a fast, stable network. The link again for the network test you need to score at least 4/5 on with 'CALLS' - http://speedtestgroup.com

Headset microphones we recommend

Ideally use true wireless in-ear earphones with decent mic like these:
