Naming!!! We have a lot of concepts to communicate... This is a thread to debate them :-D

What's in a name... a rose by any other name would smell just as sweet right? Actually thats bull shit. If a "rose" was called "dead rotting rat", it would not smell as sweet. Just like how meals taste better when they have an artful presentation, concepts are better communicated when they are artfully and intentionally worded.

How do we type DAI denominations in the wiki? (possibly elsewhere) Closed Sun 6 Jan 2019 8:02PM
100 DAI (with space)
Non crypto people may need to understand what DAI is in the wiki. How do we wish to write DAI in the wiki so we are not too confusing?

100 DAI - I agree it looks best with a space - but I think DAI Stablecoin is known to be a $1 / 1 DAI conversion. You can see https://medium.com/cryptolinks/maker-for-dummies-a-plain-english-explanation-of-the-dai-stablecoin-e4481d79b90 for more info. Even exchanges only use the coin name.

If you want to make a clear link in people's minds that what is being sent is equivalent to dollars, then $100 DAI works fine. Crypto-savvy people will also know what you mean.

There is a space between the amount and the denominater I hope =) ... i.e. 100 DAI

I really like community meeting actually. town hall makes no sense for me as we are no town :) ... if you really like that we could name it town hall twice a year when we meet IRL for meetings - so I think we should keep town-hall in mind, but prefer community meeting for our weekly meeting
