Hello all! I'm Rebecca (she/hers) and I am the communications lead and worker owner at Round Sky Solutions. I live in New Orleans (originally from California). My background is in environmental nonprofits (before I came to coops) and I have a Masters of Management in Cooperatives and Credit Unions.

Round Sky Solutions is a worker owned cooperative offering shared leadership trainings online. Since we are a remotely operated business, I use email often for outreach! I am excited collaborate with and learn from you all!

Hi all! I'm Wouter (he/him) and work as project lead at meet.coop - The Online Meeting Cooperative. We provide ethical online meeting and collaboration spaces. We try to build on top of and together with other cooperatives, e.g. we use openCollective to receive and pay financial contributions, we use arguably the best libre & open source online meeting software out there ;-) , we have servers in Europe and in Canada with Koumbit.org, and our team is staffed at different cooperatives in Europe & North America. Being here makes much sense to us - and our team voted in favour of course.

I see quite a few familiar names around here! Nice to connect here. It will be great to help each other out to increase each others projects' visibility and our memberships.

Our current channels include an OpenCollective channel for announcements (160 contributors), our forum @ forum.meet.coop, our twitter account, and individual accounts throughout the fediverse (social.coop in particular). Also we do monthly commons.hour sessions with in-depth discussions after a session starter by one of our members.

The Online Meeting Cooperative provides privacy-respecting, commons-oriented online meeting services. We operate as an international coalition of coops who share the federated development of digital infrastructure for collaboration. meet.coop is powered by libre software, renewable energy and solidarity. The mission of meet.coop is to grow a sustainable cooperative business providing online collaboration spaces, paying a fair wage and using surplus income to support development in the commons.
