The Award is part of the celebrations for the International Year of Cooperatives 2025, proclaimed by the United Nations. The Award recognises academic research that explores the role and contribution of cooperatives, and more broadly of social economy organizations, in building more just, sustainable, and peaceful societies based on democracy, participation, and solidarity.

๐Ÿ“„๐Ÿ“„ Theses must be written in English, with the possibility of publishing an extract in the scientific journal ๐‰๐„๐Ž๐ƒ (www.jeodonline.com), indexed in Scopus and published by Euricse.

The Award is promoted by the Fondazione Venezia per la Ricerca sulla Pace and Euricse, under the patronage of the Universitร  di Trento, in collaboration with the Cooperative Research Committee of the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA CCR), the EMES International Research Network and CIRIEC International.
