Downtown Pasco Locations

I received feedback from Mike Goins at the Downtown Pasco Development Authority. I think it would be a good idea to take a closer look at the 408 W Lewis Street Property.
"The following information is available for Downtown Pasco.
408 W Lewis Street 3500 square feet (2500 showroom) with upstairs between 1800-1900 per month.
411 W Clark Street 1000 square feet and is running $1000/month.
I have reached out to the Port of Pasco as well or some larger space or future growth. They have plenty and we could set up a tour (this would put you out of the immediate Downtown however and they run between $12-$18 sq ft)"

Windows to the street allow for some valuable messaging about the value of makerspace/creativity/innovation/STEAM to engage the community -could camouflage & obscure if not outright block the tools from view. just a thought

Yeah I almost said something similar earlier. Like many stores, the front space can be used to display stuff. We probably do want something better than "papering it up" so to speak. Definitely good display space for people's projects, posters, and perhaps even an an LCD computer monitor with our upcoming events and whatnot on it. :)
Anyway, we'll know more once we see the space[s].

This sounds great Nick! Especially the Lewis Street location. Any chance of seeing the space with a few folks?

Yup. I'm trying to set up a viewing before our next meeting. I'll let everyone know as soon as I get word on the details.

I've set-up a time to tour the facility at 408 W Lewis Street in Pasco. Join us on Tuesday, March 10th at 5pm if you'd like a look.
I'll be taking pictures to show at the wed night makers meeting.
Please let me know all of the questions that we need to ask. The devil is in the details.

Pictures and a video from the space. Warning, the video loads slowly. It's big. Chrome loads it extra slowly. (Doesn't buffer far enough ahead when it can.)

Alright, that's great! Is there a potential day when we can plan to maybe go out and look at these? Maybe not an open invitation, but just a small group just so we don't overwhelm them looking around. I kind of like the idea of the 3500 sqft one, but showroom might mean "large glass front". However a quick bit of work could cover that up from the inside. Not to hide us away so much as make it harder to see all the nice tools we may eventually have in there when we're closed. :)
