Invitation for Boston Blockchain to attend 1st #RE2020 Unconference
Greetings, Babak, cc: Carolyn Reckhow, Chris Taylor
As you know, a number of collaborators are launching a bold experiment this weekend -- a cross-sector real estate unconference, and to my delight, RSVPs are coming in.
LIMITED SPACE = CURATING CHANGE MAKERS
We're curating the guest list for #RE2020 so we have multiple perspectives, and but would llke to hold a number of spots for you and others from the Boston Blockchain MeetUp. Please RSVP if you'd like to join us online or in-person; half day or full day this Saturday, 9:30-3:45pm at @ImpactHubBOS,
UNCONFERENCE?
If you're NOT familiar with unconferences, watch these two short videos and know that ANYONE can present an idea or solution, facilitate a conversation or interactive exercise, demo a new app, or request a session.
My suggestions:
Today's Washington Post points to one of the real estate pain points where blockchain can deliver solutions that will expedite its use in the industry: http://bit.ly/BlockRETheft
In private correspondence, also learned today that the National Association of Realtors lead guy from Blockchain was the tech lead at the Mass. Associaton of Realtors. He relocated to Chicago to be part of @CRTLabs
Knowing that, how can we help expedite blockchain adoption in real estate; and cross-sector, as the industry prepares to come to Boston in November 2018 for their annual convention?
If those ideas don't excite you, just bring your knowledge, passions, and vision for real estate and alternative housing in the year 2020 and let's cocreate it.

PS. We need to limit this unconference to 49 people, and are required to check IDs at the door. If we're oversubscribed, we'll maintain a WAIT LIST and everyone to participate online via http://re2020.QiQoChat.com. Watch that link for more details.
