I think having the discussions and decisions be public will be good so people can get a feeling for the coop before they join
For the moment, I agree with open; one we have a more automated system for members joining, then an invitation can be auto-sent, and closed ptoentially will make more sense
I opt for transparency, but I am concerned that some people may feel less free to share their feelings openly, so I think we should consider the full implications of openness.
Ok, this group is now open (but not the working groups). We can of course revisit this in the future, but since today we're inviting a big batch of people who've applied to join, it seems important for them to at least see how the co-op is organising, before they become full members.
I'm also for open for the time being.
