Are we proposing items for the agenda here? or is there a document somewhere?

Here are a few agenda items I am suggesting.

Most pressing:
- Flagstaff funding
- Nationals? What is happening?

Secondly:
- AHBP Rules/ possibly adding crease rule before NAH?
- Retro of Xmas tourney - more specifically discussions of having non swiss and non double elim tournaments.
- Retro of Loomio - is it achieving what we are hoping for an engaging group platform?

I think these are all great items. I wonder if we try to decide on the final overall decision on everything in the one agm meeting, we will be there forever. eg, rather than flagstaff funding... I think finances overall should be the topic, and appoint a treasurer or two.. And instead of flagstaff finances, look at all our courts and where they are and when we should use which ones and when. So maybe it's about getting our structure right, and getting people who want to do stuff matched up the right jobs that they are a. good at and b. want to do.

I think we should stick to appointing new office bearers and that's about it. Large gatherings with complex issues go on forever. Elect a committee and let them do their jobs. We can collaborate on collective decisions on here or FB. We should save the meeting for official motions and keep the discussion to a minimum. My 2 cents is that we need to get public liability insurance and perhaps charge a membership fee to cover this cost.

We have not had an agm for more than a year now. I think we can make some productive decisions as long as someone brings a hammer and calls the meeting to order when we get two loud!! These things need to be discussed as a group.

My understanding is that the AGM is to officially vote on proposals, not to discuss/debate the issues. This should be done beforehand.

Everyone is entitled to their say about a proposal but there is no 'back and forth' on the issue. If you want to do that, do it in person or on here.

Are we going ahead with the meet on Sunday?
