Why wait for revolution?

Good morning/evening/day/afternoon/night wherever you are in the world Comrades! Starting this thread so it can be used to brainstorm and organise anything that can be done to substantiate our revolutionary sentiment! For example, posters, leftist vandalism, organised disruptions etc. Could be as simple as filling up water balloons with red paint and going around throwing them about everywhere in your local area with posters of "Viva la revolución" or writing and organising amongst ourselves a global anarchist magazine which we can then work out how that would be run and distributed etc. If you have any ideas, and can get anything going, please respond! Personally I think this would be a great platform to produce our own Anarchist newspaper, which I suppose we could discuss the details of later if you guys think thats something we'd like to do. Anyways what I'm saying is lets start this shit now, for we have nothing to lose but our chains!

I agree Comrade, recruiting is important, it's what I've been trying to do lately as well. I find it is more attractive when we can say "this is what we believe in, this is why, and this is what we do, join us!" as opposed to what it is now "this is what we believe in, don't you see why? oh and yeah and we occasionally talk online which is totally going to achieve what we profess we want!?" We need to believe. I've been putting up posters around my local area, and have sporadically been grafting anarchist slogans and messages. But it is impossible for individuals to change the collective. We are judged on what we do, not what we say. It is time we stop the words, put our money where our mouths are and do something. Thank you for your message Comrade, I was saddened that out of the 40 other so called anarchists no more than 3 of us responded.

I have been trying to make a good template/design for recruitment posters that are both effective and nice looking, in terms of finding actual people to join, I have had no luck. It's difficult to find leftists here in a small fascist Kansas town.

I think another problem is that people might want a more secure platform if they are going to discuss any direct action plans. I've been trying out tox and retroshare. I'm thinking about starting a new thread dedicated to secure communications.

It kind of makes me sad how this went unnoticed. We really need to do something, anything. My big thing right now is recruiting, I've been talking to friends and I managed to get 2 sympathizers and a new comrade out of it. Has anyone else been working on individual initiatives?
