We can use this tool to gain important decision making information from everyone, not only those able to donate their time to organizing the 2014 TN Food Summit.

Are we to use Loomio to make decisions & represent ideas?

Loomio only serves as a decision making tool if sufficient stake holders are willing and able to participate in online conversations and expression of opinions, concerns and opportunities.
Loomio provides a platform allowing for stakeholders unable to be physically present for planning meetings to contribute ideas and take roles in organizing the 2014 TN Food Summit.
Do we have sufficient representation on Loomio members to move forward with additional decision making?

I feel we require more participation informing this decision.
Loomio serves in presenting perspectives/opinions through broad participation.
we must remember Everyone will not participate, those participating are folks willing to step up/help.

I'm happy to follow whatever MIsti and Blake decide as to the platform, whether it be FB, Loomio or otherwise, to conduct our meetings when we cannot meet in person.

thank you Randall, As this format is intended to allow remote/Internet contribution. I'de like to consider your voice on this an abstention. seems you and Jeff will require a liaison to receive hone calls outside of your attending planning meetings. thanks for your energy!
