Separate permissions for "invite" and "approve" new group members
In the 'Permissions' tab group settings there is the option: 'Invite and approve new members', best divide into two options: 'Invite' and 'Approve' with the aim of improving the living together of the group.
With two options, any group member can 'Invite' and 'Approve' be the exclusive role of coordinators
At present it is necessary:
a) not enable 'Group Settings' - 'Permissions' - 'Invite and approve new members'
b) the group member sends a personal email to the person you want to invite,
c) expect the invited person send the request for membership,
d) expected that the group coordinator approves the request for membership
Otherwise it is enabled in point a) and in that way any group member can invite and approve new group members
I think that the way to do this now is to have a group you can "request to join" - then anyone can ask to come in and coordinators still need to approve them.
One thing I would like to see if more fine-grained roles for coordinators. For example, I help moderate some aspects of this Community group, but another team member is in charge of approving new members. I wish I didn't have to get all the notifications about requests to join.
